Privacy policy

This page explains what personal data Tenestay handles through tenestay.com, why, and how you can request it.

Tenestay is the controller for this site. Write to hello@tenestay.com or call +372 5373 8261. Cookies and Consent Mode are in the cookie policy.

What we collect

Browsing. If you allow analytics, Google Analytics 4, loaded by Google Tag Manager, receives an online identifier, the pages you open, a rough location derived from your IP address, and the events the site sends: which apartment or guide, holiday or long stay, a night count, and a guest count. We do not send the name, email, phone number, or dates you type.

Messages. If you email or call, we receive whatever you send: your address or number, and the message. We use that to reply and to arrange a stay.

Bookings. A reservation is taken by Lodgify when that booking tool is on the page. Lodgify then processes the guest details needed to confirm the stay. Tenestay does not keep a copy of that form on this website.

Maps. Opening a map sends your IP address to Esri or OpenStreetMap so the tiles can load, and loads the map script from unpkg.com.

Why we use your data

How long we keep data

Analytics cookies follow the cookie policy: Google’s _ga cookies last up to two years unless you delete them sooner. Emails are kept while the conversation, the stay, or a legal duty still needs them, then deleted. We do not sell personal data.

Who else receives data

Google (Tag Manager and Analytics), Esri, OpenStreetMap, and unpkg process data as described above. Lodgify processes a booking when you use that tool. Some of these providers store data outside the European Economic Area under their own safeguards. Their pages: Google, Esri, OpenStreetMap, Lodgify.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected, deleted or restricted, or sent to you in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and you can withdraw consent for analytics or advertising at any time without affecting a stay that has already been agreed. Just email hello@tenestay.com.

You can also complain to a supervisory authority. In Spain, where the apartments are, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, aepd.es. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you can complain to the authority in your country.

This site is intended for adults booking a stay and is not aimed at children.
