What it is like

What it is like to stay here

Three levels, and the last one is only sky and water.

Callao Salvaje runs at village volume — waves, a scooter, somebody's radio.

BBQ on the first terrace, sauna and gym downstairs, no queue for either.

Twelve minutes on foot and you are standing in the Atlantic at Playa de Ajabo.

The home

A house stacked vertically, finishing in open ocean.

Spacious 3 bed / 2.5 bath for up to 6 guests, with a private panoramic ocean terrace on the third level. Level one holds a WC, kitchen, laundry, living room and a BBQ terrace; level two holds the three bedrooms, one of them en-suite, plus a second bathroom.

The complex has a year-round outdoor pool, sun terrace, sauna and gym. Parking is free and there is plenty of it in front of the building.

Playa de Ajabo is about 12 minutes on foot. HiperDino Express, SuperDiplo and a pharmacy sit on Calle el Jable. The whole area runs quieter than the big Costa Adeje resorts. TFS is about 26 km — 25 to 30 minutes.

Getting here

Callao Salvaje sits about 28–29 km west of TFS — roughly 25–40 minutes by road. Private transfers from about €52–€67; daytime taxi typically mid-€30s to ~€50. Bus: Titsa 40/343/711 to Costa Adeje (€3.70), then 473 to Callao — allow ~1–1.5 h with luggage. From TFN: ~70 min by car; private transfer recommended.

Fares and transfer prices are approximate and move with season, time of day and luggage.

Car rental
  • CICAR — desk inside the TFS terminal.
  • Goldcar — terminal desk, short walk to the cars.
  • Autoreisen — Canaries all-in style brand.
  • AlisCar Costa Adeje, Av. Ernesto Sarti 12 — VW Polo Automatic from about €70 a day, around €60 a day for seven days or more.

Free parking in front of the building makes a hire car easy here, and Los Gigantes is a short drive north along the coast.

Worth knowing: the old Adeje streets are one-way — park and walk. Mountain and Teide roads are narrower than they look and GPS drops out. Confirm parking at the building before you arrive. One-way drop-offs at TFN can carry a delivery fee.
